It was summer of 2010. I had returned from Rochester after treatment for a second round of cancer. My physical body was a mess. I had lost the use of my right arm due to a malignant nerve tumor that was removed. I went through nerve replacement surgery and had to remain in a brace for months to make sure the nerves healed. My left arm was also compromised because of cancer surgery 20 years ago. I had limited range of motion and use of my arm. I hurt.
My usual optimistic mental state of mind was deteriorating. I was in trouble. My back and shoulders hurt. I was listless, without energy or motivation. I had no ambition. I could not sleep. The list went on… Turning to prayer was all I could do. I asked for God’s direction and healing. Where do I go? What do I do?
Thinking (with God’s direction) that a chiropractor might help, I called Dr. Tiffany for a consultation. She was my cousin’s daughter, always better to have some connections, right. Lyndi answered the phone with a cheerful soothing voice. She listened to my symptoms and by the next morning, after mustering enough energy to climb the stairs, I was in the office of Dr. Tiffany Johnson.
Having never been to a chiropractor before, I had huge misconceptions about treatment. After the first few visits I knew 2 things for sure 1) I had been entirely wrong about chiropractic care and what it involved and 2) God had lead me in the right direction.
After the first month of care everyone noticed a distinct difference in my attitude and physical ability. I noticed a difference. I was happy. I had more energy. I felt almost like my old self again. The best part was that I never knew even before my recent cancer that I was in such bad shape. All I could do was to keep on improving, and I did.
It has now been over nine months since my first visit. I have made it to only one or two visits a week, depending on my stress levels! Now, you need to know all the positive benefits of chiropractic care with Dr. Tiffany.
- I am able to wake up refreshed, not tired.
- I sleep better.
- I have lost most of the soreness and stiffness in my neck and shoulders.
- I am far more agile.
- I have regained a sense of balance.
- My neurosurgeon in Rochester is impressed with how quickly the new nerves in my arm are responding to physical therapy.
- I can move my arm and it gets easier every day.
- Therapy has accelerated my function faster than the therapist had anticipated.
- There are more, these are the most important.
This has been my experience with Dr. Tiffany and Lyndi. I appreciate how much they have helped me regain my sense of wellbeing. Thank you Dr. Tiffany and Lyndi.
